World Cup Volunteering Explained
Behind every ticket, every fan, every whistle, every match, there is another team: the volunteers. Always there, at every moment, across the stadiums and elsewhere, behind the scenes, doing everything.
Greeting legends, finding seats, carrying flags, supporting media, and preparing accreditation cards.
Planning, guiding, transporting and welcoming.
It’s the pre-game nerves, the in-game roar, the post-game relief, the warm smiles, the cheering sounds.
They are the beating heart of the world’s most popular sport.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be the 23rd edition of the FIFA World Cup, the quadrennial international men’s football championship contested by the national teams of the member associations of FIFA.
